A well-established, Kent law firm are seeking a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor to join their office in Ashford. The firm have great presence in the South and excellent reputation.
A 5 year PQE + Solicitor will be considered for this role and the successful Commercial Property Solicitor will work alongside experts in the field managing a mixed caseload.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing a mixed caseload of freehold purchase and sale of commercial and business premises, site acquisitions, disposals and development, retail, leisure, factory office and residential, leases & renewals, portfolio management and property investments, property finance and rent reviews
Drafting and negotiating contracts for sale, transfers, leases and agreements for lease, licences, guarantees and legal charges
Attending to clients of the firm which could include a wide range of buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, developers and funders
Dealing with complex property matters
Compliance with the firm`s routine time recording, accounts and administrative disciplines
Active involvement in business development
Qualifications:
A good honours degree followed by LPC, training contract and PSC / or a good honours degree with CILEX to Fellow level, LPC and PSC and admitted by SRA as a solicitor
Commercial property exposure gained at a reputable firm
Candidates must be a qualified solicitor or an experienced legal executive
Post qualification experience
