A well-established law firm is looking for a Personal Injury Legal Secretary to join their busy and expanding team. This will be based in there Chichester office. The ideal candidate must provide administrative support and able to offer a high-quality legal service to all the clients.

Duties will include:

  • Providing full secretarial support with matters related to Personal Injury law.
  • Speaking with clients and keeping them up to date.
  • Making appointments, managing diaries, and seeing to the reasonable requirements of clients.
  • Liaising with experts, Counsel, witnesses and the Court.
  • Preparing correspondence and documents through both audio and copy typing.
  • Checking documents for accuracy.
  • Costing of files for the purpose of cost update letters.
  • Ensuring confidentiality and security of all documentation to comply with GDPR regulations.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Legal Secretary experience essential within Personal Injury – at least 1 years’ experience.
  • Use of the Proclaim Case Management system would be an advantage.
  • Experience of using a PI Portals is an advantage.
  • Fast, accurate typing ability, ideally using digital audio systems and experience of using case management system.
