Personal Injury Paralegal

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal to join the Personal Injury department of a reputable law firm in Chichester. Dealing with multi track PI matters concerning fatal accidents and high value personal injury matters.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the team with personal injury claims.
• Taking witness statements.
• Schedules of Loss and interim payment budgets.
• Dealing with MOJ portal claims.
• Chase medical evidence
• Producing indexed e- bundles for Court, dealing with e-filing/ proceedings/ applications etc.
• To have good written and verbal skills and a need to demonstrate drive, initiative and enthusiasm as well as an ability to work as part of a team within the firm’s Personal Injury Department.

Desirable Skills:

• A minimum of 1 years’ experience within personal injury
• To be able to handle your own caseload of files
• High attention to detail
• Advanced IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Ability to work accurately, prioritise work and adhere to critical deadlines.
