An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor to join the Personal Injury department of a reputable law firm in Chichester. Dealing with multi track PI and high value personal injury matters.

This is an exciting opportunity to run your own existing caseload. This will consist primarily of RTA, EL and PL claims at various stages and handling multi track PI claims through to trial.

These will include:

• Brain injuries.
• Major trauma/ serious injury claims including, potentially, amputee cases.
• Fatal cases with dependency claims.
• This position contains genuine prospects of career development for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a mixed caseload of high value matters.
• Attending to clients of the firm.
• Drafting various legal documentation and dealing with complex matters.
• Active involvement in business development and networking to bring or attract claims to the firm.

Desirable Skills:

• Have a minimum of 4 Years PQE with experience in the Personal Injury department.
• Have a proven track record of proactively and effectively conducting high value multi track cases.
• Have a working knowledge of the rehabilitation code and the serious injury guide.
• Significant experience of working in a personal injury department in a client facing role.
• Ability to work accurately, prioritise work and adhere to critical deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
