The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years recent experience within a law firm as a secretary.

Duties will include:

  • Create letters, emails and documents
  • Amending and reformatting documents in Microsoft Word and using Track Changes
  • Record payments in and out, create new matters and where necessary, record time spent
  • Electronic diary management, booking rooms and arranging meetings
  • Telephone liaison with clients and firm`s contacts
  • Photocopying and scanning documents
  • Maintaining orderly files : keeping filing up to date


Training will be provided in this practice area.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Legal Secretarial/Assistant experience within property
  • Strong and efficient secretarial/legal admin skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Audio typing ability using digital dictation systems
  • Experience of using case management system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very well organised
  • Friendly & professional attitude
  • IT literate Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook/ Digital Audio software
