Employment Solicitor

(NQ+)

Lytham, Lancashire

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Employment Solicitor or Fee Earner to join a well-established and highly accredited firm based in their Lytham office. You will be joining a multi office firm with a strong presence and links across the whole of the UK.

Areas of focus will include but not limited to:

  • Unfair dismissal
  • Settlement agreements (previously called compromise agreements)
  • Breach of contract
  • Employment tribunals
  • Maternity rights
  • Redundancy
  • Restrictive covenants
  • Director’s service agreements
  • Discrimination, including race, disability, sex and employment age discrimination
  • Dismissal of Directors
  • HR policies and procedures

The successful candidate will:

  • Possess a strong background in Employment law, in both non-contentious and contentious employment issues
  • Be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or a Fee Earner within Employment law
  • Have handled all forms of employment law issues for commercial and private clients
  • Build and develop own case load with commercial emphasis
  • Possess excellent technical and client care skills
  • Be a team player and able to manage a full caseload
  • Have a strong interest in business development and networking
