An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Family Solicitor or Legal Executive who is able to run their own files without supervision. You will be joining a reputable legal practice with a great presence in the Hampshire area.
Due to growth, the firm are looking for an additional person to join the team. They are incredibly busy with new instructions already, therefore there may be referrals from these files, although you will need to be able to undertake business development activities to build your caseload.
They are seeking a fee earner with a good understanding of the market. You will advise on a variety of matters to include divorce and separation, private children matters’ and financial agreements / disputes.
Duties will include:
Managing own caseload
Advising on a variety of privately funded family matters
Develop existing caseload in divorce, finance and private children matters
Drafting legal documentation to include Cohabitation Agreements and Prenuptial Agreements
Drafting various Court Applications
Be actively involved in marketing and business development activities
The successful candidate ideally will:
Have at least 1 years’ experience of maintaining their own caseload and bringing new business in
Be a Solicitor or FCILEx
Be a member of resolution or hold a specialist family accreditation desirable
Be able to effectively develop business
Offer sound legal advice to a diverse client base
Maintain your continuing professional development requirements
Be self-motivated with a drive to develop the team
Work in a collaborative manner within the team and wider firm
Have a positive approach and strong work ethic
