Personal Injury Legal Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a leading Legal firm on an assisting within the Personal Injury/ Clinical Negligence department.

You will be working alongside experienced lawyers Personal Injury experts pursuing Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence cases on behalf of injured individuals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Typing digital and copy typing of documents
  • Filing
  • Managing diaries
  • Arranging meetings and conferences
  • Liaising with clients, experts, counsel and third-party solicitors
  • Preparing bundles and collating witness statements.
  • Any further secretarial duties as required.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous legal secretarial experience ideally within PI / Clinical Negligence.
  • IT literate and experience audio typing.
  • Experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using case management systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Possessing a good telephone manner, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must work well as part of a team and possess a pro-active team work approach.
