Well established and multi accredited firm are seeking an experienced Paralegal for their Salisbury Family law team.

This role will be to assist fee earners in their day to day work by providing support and an efficient paralegal service within the Family department.

The caseload consists of Divorce, dissolution and separation, financial arrangements, children issues, pre and post nuptial agreements, cohabitation and unmarried families, mediation and collaborative law.

Duties will include:

  • Maintenance of comprehensive and accurate client admin files.
  • Support fee earners in marketing activities.
  • Attending to clients face to face and assisting via telephone and email.
  • Preparation/updating of trial bundles.
  • Drafting and preparation of documents such as Form E’s, Form C100’s, Decree Nisi, Decree Absolute, Divorce petitions, Separation agreements, Cohabitation agreements, Pre-nuptial agreements.
  • Instructing counsel.
  • Coordinating billing for the team of lawyers.
  • Managing own diary of appointments and scheduling day to day workflow.
  • General file related administration.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience within family law / child law essential.
  • The ability to run your own files preferred
  • Detail orientated with excellent client care skills.
  • Experience of using case management system.
  • IT literate – Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook / Digital Audio software / Case Management.
