A well-established law firm in Kent are looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executives to join their team on a full time basis with knowledge of Wills, Probate, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection.
They are also looking for a Private Client Head of Department/Partner
Duties will include:
Independently managing own varied caseload of private client matters.
Responsibility for providing high quality, timely, professional advice on Wills, Probate and Estate administration, Inheritance Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection Work, Trusts and some Contentious Probate Work.
Promoting a compassionate and sensitive disposition client experience when dealing with the elderly or incapacitated.
Proactively networking and marketing within the team to generate new business and reputation.
Attending clients in their own environment as required.
Responsibility for mentoring and assisting more junior team members.
Maintaining good billings records within the team.
Required Experience:
The successful Senior Private Client Solicitor will have a minimum of 4+ years PQE with proven experience and knowledge in the preparation of Wills, Probate, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and matters.
The Head of Department will have a minimum of 8+ years.
Self-motivated, self-confident and able to work with minimum supervision.
Able to work with a full caseload in busy office under supervision.
What they offer:
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
Salary dependent on experience for the Senior Private Client Solicitor role £60,000 - £80,000+.
The Head of Department Salary is competitive dependent experience.
Pension Scheme.
Good holiday entitlement.
A mixture of remote and office working considered after probation.
