A well-established, Hampshire and Surrey law firm are seeking a Commercial Property and Corporate/Commercial Fee Earner to join their office in Winchester. The firm have great presence in the South and excellent reputation for their services.

A newly qualified and beyond, fee earner will be considered for this role and the successful Solicitor will be exposed to a range of areas of law to include buying and selling freehold and leasehold property, new and existing leases, buying and selling limited companies (share sales/purchases) and businesses (asset sales/purchase), company formation and restructuring, general corporate advice and shareholders agreements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a mixed caseload of freehold purchase and sale of commercial and business premises, site acquisitions, disposals and development, retail, leisure, factory office and residential, leases & renewals, portfolio management and property investments, property finance and rent reviews
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts for sale, transfers, leases and agreements for lease, licences, guarantees and legal charges
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and updating terms and conditions.
  • Attending to clients of the firm which could include a wide range of buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, developers and funders
  • Dealing with complex property matters
  • Compliance with the firm's routine time recording, accounts and administrative disciplines
  • Active involvement in business development

Qualifications:

  • A good honours degree followed by LPC, training contract and PSC / or a good honours degree with CILEX to Fellow level, LPC and PSC and admitted by SRA as a solicitor
  • Commercial property and Corporate/Commercial law exposure gained at a law firm or in house
  • Candidates must be a qualified solicitor or a legal executive
  • IT Literate and able to use case management systems
