The successful candidate will be the sole Private Client Solicitor in the Aylesbury office, with ongoing support from the wider team and regular monthly Private Client meetings.
You will handle a broad range of private client matters, including:
Wills Probate and administration of estates; full administrations and fixed fee probate work. Acting on behalf of the firm.
Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) Taxable estates and related issues Trust administration
Duties will include:
Independently managing a varied caseload of private client matters.
Demonstrating a compassionate and sensitive approach when dealing with elderly or incapacitated clients.
Proactively networking and marketing to generate new business and enhance the firm's reputation.
Attending clients in their own environment as required.
Mentoring and assisting more junior team members.
Desired skills:
Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years + PQE.
Proven track record of achieving targets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
STEP qualification is desirable, but not essential.
Business development and networking skills.
