We are currently working with law firm in Basingstoke who are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to support their Commercial Real Estate Department on a part-time basis.

You will provide administrative support to fee earners within the Commercial Real Estate team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Opening and closing client files, including obtaining ID and compliance documentation.
  • Arranging meetings and liaising with colleagues.
  • Liaising with clients via the telephone, email or face to face.
  • Assisting with SDLT applications and post completion processes.
  • Using the Land Registry and responding to requisitions.
  • Audio typing.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Previous Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant or Legal Administrative experience within a law firm.
  • Strong and efficient secretarial and admin skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Fast, accurate typing ability, ideally using digital audio systems.

What they offer:

  • Part Time hours – Monday – Friday 1:30pm – 5pm.
  • Salary depending on experience: £25,000 - £27,000 Pro Rata.
  • Pension contributions and holiday entitlement.
  • Work Social events.
