Assisting with all aspects of the cashiering function.

Trainee Legal Cashier Duties:
Assisting with all aspects of the cashiering function.
Processing financial transactions relating to client matters in a timely manner and in accordance with the SRA Accounts Rules.
Managing and reconcile supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring invoices are paid within agreed terms.
Preparing payment runs, including BACS transfers and cheque payments.
Processing petty cash.
Archiving Duties:
To archive files in accordance with the firm’s policies and regulatory requirements.
To maintain our client database in connection with archived files.
To liaise with fee earners, external storage, and secure shredding companies in relation to file collection, retrieval, and destruction.
Desired skills and experience:
Previous experience working in a professional office environment with a keen interest in Legal Cashier work.
Strong communication.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong IT skills with knowledge of working with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
What they offer:
This role is full time Monday – Friday – 9am – 5:15pm and office based.
Competitive salary depending on experience - £25,000 - £26,000.
