Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor to join a reputable legal practice in Hove. They are a full-service law firm that are seeking a Solicitor with a good understanding of the market to join their expanding commercial property team.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of Commercial Property matters, including:

• Sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold commercial properties.
• Handling landlord and tenant issues.
• Overseeing property acquisitions, sales for development, land promotion, options and conditional contracts.
• Property auctions – sales and purchases.
• Lease Extensions.

Duties will include:

• Managing an existing and mixed caseload.
• Attending to clients of the firm which could include a wide range of buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, developers and funders.
• Drafting various legal documentation.
• Dealing with complex property matters.
• Active involvement in business development.
• Supervision and management of staff if required.

The successful candidate will:

• A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years of PQE +.
• Be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in running and building your own Commercial Property caseload.
