Legal Secretary : Commercial Property/ Property Litigation

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join this Legal 500 firm, with several offices across the South of England. You will be working within two very supportive and friendly teams within Commercial Property and Property Litigation.

Duties will include:

  • Create letters, emails and documents
  • Amending and reformatting documents in Microsoft Word and using Track Changes
  • Record payments in and out, create new matters and where necessary, record time spent
  • Electronic diary management, booking rooms and arranging meetings
  • Telephone liaison with clients and firm`s contacts
  • Photocopying and scanning documents
  • Maintaining orderly files : keeping filing up to date

Desired skills and experience:

  • Legal Secretarial/Assistant experience within property
  • Strong and efficient secretarial/legal admin skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Audio typing ability using digital dictation systems
  • Experience of using case management system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very well organised
  • Friendly & professional attitude
  • IT literate Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook/ Digital Audio software
